Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no card, no limit and no watermark on the image. The QR code is generated in your browser, so you can use it commercially — on menus, packaging, posters or shopfront stickers.
Do my QR codes expire?
No. The code encodes your link, text or UPI details directly, so there is no redirect of ours in the middle that could ever break. Once you download it, it works forever — which also means you cannot change where it points without making a new one.
How does the UPI QR code work?
We build a upi://pay deep link following NPCI's UPI Linking Specification, with your UPI ID as the payee address and the name shoppers will see. Add an amount for a fixed-price code, or leave it blank so the payer types their own. Scanning it opens their UPI app with the details already filled in.
Is my UPI ID or link sent to your servers?
No. Everything is generated inside your browser. What you type is never uploaded, never stored, never put in the page address and never saved on this device.
What size should I download for printing?
Use the SVG for anything printed — it stays sharp at any size. The PNG exports at 1024 pixels or larger, which is plenty for stickers, table tents and A4 posters.
